Director of Clinical Services

Recently opened in October 2017, Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Our 54-bed inpatient and partial programs are fully accredited, and are built to expand with the growing needs of the community.

The Director of Clinical Services at Cedar Creek Hospital will direct and manage an effective organization-wide clinical service delivery system, inpatient, outpatient and contracted services. Responsible for hospital-wide functions related to the development and maintenance of professional standards and policies for the Quality Assurance Programs for Clinical Services. Ensures that clinical supervision is provided to all department staff. Internally, the incumbent will interface with hospital management, staff, and patients. Externally, the incumbent will interface with family members, the general public, licensing and accrediting agencies, and healthcare treatment agencies.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan in respective mental health discipline, LMSW preferred, also accepting applications from LPC and LLP.

Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline

Extensive knowledge of social work values, principles, and methods with special focus on mental health, family, and group dynamics.

Two or more years of progressive management experience in behavioral health setting

Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others’ activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment

Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, DC Department of Health, CSOSA, DC Department of Behavioral Health, CMS, OSHA, and related agencies’ regulations and practical application in a hospital setting is preferred.
