Specifically, within the Human Resources team we have recently made new investments in technology to better support our team members and put a greater focus on talent management, career pathing and development.
What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Chief HR & Communications Officer, this position is responsible for the development, execution and measurement of internal and franchise communication plans. This person will have the ability to influence and promote the brand business objectives and culture. In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring the brand messages are communicated in a way whichmotivate andinspires team members and franchisees to connect to the brand purpose. One area which is key to this engagement is our internally developed social engagement portal which this role will oversee and drive future enhancements. This is a vital role as it is through our communications that brand stories position our purpose to come to life.

- Oversee and execute a communication strategy for internal team member audiences and franchise community audiences
- Ensures all internal and franchise communications are brand compliant with brand logos, coloring and the appropriate use of the brand
- Ensure execution and editorial review of all internal communication materials to ensure accuracy, clarity and appropriateness of specific content and vehicles for different audiences
- Develops clear project plans, updates plans and provides regular written status updates on communication projects to CCO.
- Research, write and edit communications materials for a variety of channels and audiences using a variety of methods: print, digital, social media, mobile, video
- Support content creation and messaging for key internal events (brand conferences, town halls, company newsletters, company social portal, etc).
What we are searching for
The Director of Brand & Internal Communications will be an experienced leader who has proficient with a variety of communication vehicles to deliver impactful messaging with various stakeholders and multicultural audiences. We also feel the successful candidate holds these attributes:
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is preferred
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines, extremely organized and demonstrates clear project management expertise
- Self-management and flexibility to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Sensitive to confidential information
- Ability to work at all levels within the organization with a variety of stakeholders
- Makes tough and timely decisions
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability of communication styles to different audiences
We feel the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Major in Communications, or English highly preferred
- 7+ years of communications experience with:
o demonstrated experience developing communications plans, managing corporate communications efforts and strategies for company-wide initiatives
o demonstrated experience leading and developing a team
o experience with multiple departments and geographically dispersed population that may have limited access to the internet
o experience working in franchise based environment and knowledge of specific limitations impacting communications
- Demonstrated experience using a wide array of channels and tools to creatively communicate messages
- Strong project management experience required.
