Creative Project Manager
The Creative Project Manager oversees end-to-end production and traffic operations with the creative team to execute on deliverables requested by our clients and internal teams. The role requires experience in clearly defining project schedules, scope of creative work, developing quotes and budgets, and assets for the design and production of all projects and managing them through to completion. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and champions process and accuracy, but also possesses the flexibility and patience to gracefully manage mid-course corrections and unexpected changes. This person possesses strong communication and organization skills and a make-it-happen attitude. Additionally, this role works closely with the Creative Services Manager in the development, refinement, and implementation of new processes or procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from brief to final delivery of art
- Work with internal and/or external clients to determine project scope and deliverables, develop project timelines, and adjust timelines as needed, based on revisions
- Creates and monitors project estimates, tracks client POs, concludes billing process
- Plans and prioritizes work flow within the creative studio with other project managers
- Traffic and project management and collaboration with in-house designers to meet deadlines and company objectives
- Manage approval process by proactively following up and communicating with creative team and other stakeholders to maintain transparency around timing of deliverables
- Maintain relationships and projects with vendors and external agencies, including price quotes, timeline, approvals, resource allocation, and invoicing
- Other job duties may be required as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a project management role, working closely with Creatives (i.e. designers, copywriters, production studio) and Requesting Stakeholders
- Proven in managing and delivering on marketing/creative campaigns
- Technical knowledge in print & digital production and design terminology
- Be a self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
- Show a clear ability to work autonomously, with solid strategic decision-making skills
- Superior project timeline development, risk assessment and prioritization skills
- Experienced at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Ability to simplify complex projects and articulate direction within Creative team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable and consistent attention to detail
- Creative external agency or internal creative agency experience required
- Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and design principles is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft or Google office suite required
