Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is a behavioral health facility hiring a dynamic behavioral health executive displaying the highest standard of professionalism. The CEO will be responsible for operational management of clinical departments and services, staff development, assuring the highest quality of care, sound fiscal operations, maintaining a strong referral base, and ensuring compliance with regulations while monitoring the company’s services and delivery systems. This position requires a high level of collaboration with our Affiliated Companies.

Position Summary:

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare provides specialized outpatient and community-based services to adults, adolescents and children in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment. The duties of the position include:

  • Accountable for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations mission, vision and values.
  • Provide leadership and applies advance leadership practices.
  • Achieve budgeted financial objectives.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement culture with systems that sustains an environment of best practices, quality and cost improvement.
  • Ensure active strategic planning that supports the mission of the Company and promoted growth, stability and a culture of corporate responsibility and leadership.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the executive management team to ensure fiscal accountability and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Work with executive team and Affiliated Companies to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate, collaborate and communicate with Affiliated Companies, as applicable, to contribute to the development of corporate-wide strategic planning.
  • Seeks and builds board involvement with strategic direction for ongoing operations.
  • Actively participates in local and state meetings and conferences.
  • Develop positive relationships with key healthcare providers, referral sources and community leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required
  • At least ten (10) years demonstrated executive leadership experience in the behavioral/mental health field or closely related field.
  • A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations preferred
  • An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management preferred
  • Courtesy, tact and diplomacy.
