Summary/Objective
The Carpentry Installation Project Manager collaborates with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of a project and obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, all while negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.

1. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
2. Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met and customers will be fully satisfied.
3. Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
4. Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
5. Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
6. Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
7. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Supervisory Responsibility
The Carpentry Installation Project Manager may, at times, need to assist and/or supervise an installer in the work field to aid the progression of a project in order to meet a deadline, solve a problem, support a colleague, etc.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may visit a job site address and be exposed to active machinery sounds. The noise level in this work environment can become very loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Occasionally, to meet a project deadline, you may be expected to work on a weekend and/or work later than 3:30 pm on normal weekdays.
Travel
A Carpentry Installation Project Manager may be expected to travel to and from a job site address, or a customerâs headquarters in relation to a project.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Education and Experience
- One year of related experience.
