This highly important role will lead a continuous Sales and Marketing process to meet the needs of Theramedic Rehab, with aims to strengthen existing ongoing referral relationships, develop additional referral sources and grow our business for the outpatient centers. Assures articulation of the organization’s desired image and position, assures consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization and all lines of business, and assures communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external. The Business Development Manager is required to follow other instructions and perform other duties as assigned by management. Business Development

  • Formulate and implement a marketing plan in coordination with the President.
  • Educate team members and referral sources about our services as related to specific clinical programs and capabilities, clinical outcomes and appropriate patient referrals/admissions.
  • Source new referral sources through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.). including, but not limited to: physicians, therapists, social services, attorney’s, hospitals, professional organizations, mental health centers, etc.
  • Cultivate relationships with new referral sources through a variety of activities such as personal appointments, meetings, phone calls, tours, emails and events/conferences
  • Employ effective selling techniques, including pre-call planning, effective opening, presentation focus, program and product questions, issues identification and effective close.
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity
  • Identifies market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions * Researches and assesses market for opportunities to expand existing programs/services or add new ones.
  • Designs focused, effective plans which support all service line areas and directs a well-organized approach for all business development activities.
  • Direct sales to physician offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities and other possible sources to obtain patient referrals
  • Manage the implementation and annual plan for service line growth; participates in training, planning, and development of marketing support materials and education as needed.
  • Gathers health care market intelligence in primary market to assist in strategy development relative to market opportunities. Performs an analysis of the target market; provides recommendations in the development and execution of the plan of operation for defined markets.
  • Develops, tracks and analyzes business development metrics to identify trends Marketing
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to Implement marketing, branding, communications, promotions and digital/social media strategies. Develops and run successful marketing campaigns and reports results.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to make revisions to marketing, media advertising and digital/social media campaigns accordingly to optimize marketing/media impact.
  • Provides recommendations of media placement, including television, radio, print, billboards, and other related media.
  • Identifies measurement strategies for marketing ROI by reviewing new patient data, referrals, and reports to assess efficiency of marketing initiatives.
  • Remain abreast of changes in Medicare, Medicaid and all commercial insurance reimbursement rates. * Performs other duties as assigned to align/enhance physician relationship/business development activities of Theramedic Rehab. Requirements

Salary: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
