Job Description
Associate Dir of AG reports to Executive Director for Alumni Relations and Development and will assist in planning, organization, evaluation, implementation of annual giving program, including: broad-base unrestrict support from alumni, parents, faculty/staff, friends, and univ senior class; screen, recruit, support active volunteer base; provide staff support for annual fund-raising initiatives. AD, in concert with Executive Director, develop, manage, plan, implements comprehensive
annual giving pgm utilizing volunteers, phonathons, on-line, peer-to-peer, crowdsourcing. Incumbent will collaborate with development/alumni staff in implementing projects.
Qualifications
1. Bachelorâs Degree or equivalent related experience.
2. Three years of development experience, including higher education fund-raising.
3. Strong interpersonal, organizational, communications skill and ability to meet deadlines and achieve ambitious goals.
4. Excellent writing skills.
5. Knowledge of direct mail, phonathons, volunteer recruitment.
6. Knowledge of Blackbaud Raisers Edge and Net Community, or similar products a plus.
7. Understanding of development and willingness to work some evenings and weekends as required.
