Wealth and Investment Management (WIM)
businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.

The WIM COO offers process and program management for a variety of initiatives. Primarily, the group oversees and leads integration projects (including acquisitions) and the implementation of WIM strategic initiatives, provides WIM leadership for enterprise and cross-WIM initiatives, manages project governance for WIM projects, and provides leadership for international projects.

The WIM COO Business Support Leader will manage a team focused on the support of the WIM executive office. A core activity of this team is to assist with managing overall expenses in WIM. This includes tracking and analysis on costs related to events, marketing, market data, T&E, etc. They will work with COE to understand our indirect allocated costs to determine if the allocation methodology is correct both into WIM and down to the business lines. This person is also responsible for educating leaders on how the INIE allocations work and how to manage them.

Additional responsibilities Include:

  • Liaison with real estate to assist with a holistic plan for WIM
  • Librarian for policies, procedures, and risk matters for the COO team
  • Creation and Maintenance of WIM intranet pages and documentation
  • Presentations and pitch books required by the executive office of WIM

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
  • 8+ years of management experience in a planning environment

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience with expense management for a complex financial services organization
  • Experience in the area of senior level communication materials
  • Experience with financials in a complex financial services organization
  • Experience consulting, influencing, and partnering with managers and leadership


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
