Applications are invited by the Delaware office of the Maples Group for the position of
Vice President â Structured Finance
Responsibilities:
- This role will involve serving as a relationship manager for the oversight and administration of a diverse portfolio of investment funds and structured finance vehicles;
- The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include reviewing transaction documents, financial reports, tax filings, coordinating the client acceptance process and delivering high levels of client service while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with Maples Group policies and procedures;
- He/she will be required to attend client/board meetings whether face to face or via conference;
- He/she will also be involved in ad hoc projects and may represent the Maples Group at various industry association events.
Key Skills & Experience:
- The successful candidate will be a university graduate with a strong academic background;
- He/she will also have at least 5 years’ relevant financial services, tax, or accounting experience, along with a wide understanding of investment funds and structured finance transactions;
- Knowledge of corporate governance, relevant local laws and regulatory requirements is required;
- Experience of liaising with investment bankers, lawyers, investment managers, prime brokers, custodians and other transaction parties located in various international jurisdictions is essential as well as strong drafting and communication skills.
