Vice President of Marketing

Planoly is looking for a Vice President of Marketing to join our rapidly growing startup based in Austin, Texas. Working closely with our Co-Founder/CCO/CMO, you will take a leadership role on our marketing team. By executing beautiful design, providing thought-leadership in the social medial landscape and leading a 7-person marketing team that’s passionate about our brand, partners and customers, you will play a key role in driving Planoly’s future success.

• Take full ownership of Planoly’s marketing strategy and drive initiatives from ideation to execution.
• Design and develop objectives, goals, strategies and tactics to grow our user base.
• Take ownership of our full content marketing strategy. This will include enhancing our social media messaging, blog postings and email content, as well as producing in-house videos and podcasts, all in an effort to establish Planoly as the thought-leader in the Social Media Management space.
• Employ an organic growth mindset to optimize conversion rates and ROI across all channels
• Use strong analytical skills to help us understand our customer acquisition funnel and turn prospects into customers with a strong conversion rate.
• Lead the market research efforts that will guide our team towards maintaining our competitive advantage.
• Work closely with both C-Levels as well as peers to execute our business strategy.
• Manage the planning and scheduling of our content marketing channels to ensure consistency and complementary messaging.

Who You Are: (Must have skills)

• Bachelor’s Degree, at a minimum.
• Atleast 8+ years of relevant, social media industry marketing experience. Preference for software development and startup background.
• Expertise in Social Media landscape, including depth of technical expertise related to Instagram, Pinterest and other channels.
• Well versed in team leadership and development, including HR related responsibilities.
• Dynamic digital marketing expert that can plan at the strategy level and execute at the tactical level that result in noteworthy business growth.
• Possess strong organization skills, including a keen eye on details.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on key business priorities.
