Vice President – Dermatology
Reporting to the President of Oncology, the Vice President, Dermatology will have a broad role, offering commercial insight and driving strategy at a portfolio level. Position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and candidate will be based out of Utah.

Responsibilities:
- The primary deliverable for the Vice President is to ensure unit volume and revenue growth of the Dermatology Business Unit that exceeds the plan and forecast.
- To ensure unit volume and revenue growth, the Vice President will ensure the maximum impact from all field based activity.
- To drive the impact of customer facing teams, the Vice President will ensure investments in marketing tactics that drive customer and market impact.
- To maximize the commercial impact of the BU strategy, the Vice President will be responsible for limiting the focus of the field based teams.
- Responsible for Profit and Loss for the BU.
- Drive development of long-term Disease Area Strategy, including development of Target Product Profile for future products.
- Participate on Commercial Lead Team to provide insights and strategies for other business units.
- As the Senior Commercial Leader for the Dermatology Business Unit, ensure a consistent view of the current and future landscape and treatment paradigm for Myriad products including identification of prioritized opportunities.
- As the Commercial Lead of the Dermatology Business Unit, provide commercial advice based on deep market and customer insight, which enable critical product development choices for the early product portfolio.
- Develop preliminary commercial assessments and forecasts for products in an earlier development stage.
- Conduct commercial assessment of all global licensing opportunities (within the Dermatology Business Unit) for strategic and commercial value.
- Define Brand Plans and provide commercial input for all products within the Dermatology Business Unit.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years marketing/brand commercialization functional experience with at least 4 years in a senior management position.
- Dermatology experience preferred.
- Experience managing a large organization of 25+ employees.
- Demonstrated track record of product commercialization and launch of new products.
- Broad marketing experience, including development and implementation of successful marketing plans and responsibility for marketing research, product marketing, new and strategic product planning.
- Successful management of high performing, cross-functional teams or complex organizations.
- Strong leadership and ability to represent Myriad in multiple forums both internally (executive team/Board members) and externally (GPO/Hospital System Leadership and therapeutic area KOLs).
- Experience collaborating with senior medical colleagues.
- Well-developed knowledge and understanding of new product development and commercialization processes.
- Effective team leadership necessary to work collaboratively.
- Strong therapeutic area knowledge and specialty experience is required.

- Communication Skills: Demonstrates excellent presentation and communication skills – the ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences including investors, scientific and technical leaders, pharmaceutical and business partners, etc.

Lifting Requirements – light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
