Essential Functions
- Assists Vice President and Director to achieve goals and objectives of the Architecture/Project Management Section and FMG, in compliance with standards of design and construction with applicable building, life safety, licensure, and fire codes, within or below budget.
- Handles multiple complex and unusual tasks with differing schedules and reporting to multiple levels within the corporate structure.
- Reads and understands consultant and construction contracts, design/construction drawings and specifications.
- Assists with the preparation of graphic presentations, capital budgets, department policies.
- Supervise people at all levels of responsibility.
- Provides direct and current communication to supervisor and Design and Construction Team on the status of all projects which the staff member is responsible.
- Provides quality checks and value engineering for all designs.
Physical Requirements
Standard office environment with a fast paced tempo. Substantial amount of time will be spent at construction sites. Frequent walking, standing, climbing is required. Lifting less than 50 pounds required occasionally.
Education, Experience and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors Degree in Architecture or construction sciences preferred. 10 years experience in healthcare design and/or construction field required.
