Discovery Life Sciences, formerly QualTek Molecular Laboratories, is a specialty laboratory services provider at the forefront of using IHC as a biomarker platform for personalized medicine. We are looking for a standout Research Scientist/ Project Manager. This position will support the Study Director throughout the duration of a project including sponsor and study director updates, developing study design, proposal writing, and presenting to clients. Candidates must have an MS in molecular biology or cell biology with 1-2 years’ experience in a laboratory. PhD candidates will also be considered. Experience in IHC, biomarker research and coursework in Pathology/Histology are preferred, but not required. Successful candidates must be able to multitask, maintain organized records, display keen attention to detail, efficiently manage several projects simultaneously, think outside of the box and develop creative solutions to problems. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills are critical. You must be able to work in a team environment that values open and honest communication, embraces challenge, innovation and continuous improvement, works hard and loves to have fun, is fast-paced and displays a can-do attitude.
