The Project Manager – Continuous Improvement serves as a process improvement project leader for large and complex Airframe Maintenance, Line Maintenance and MCC improvement initiatives, including business unit wide efforts composed of multiple discrete work streams. This position manages divisional and cross-divisional projects with significant scope, schedule, financial risk and expectations, with a focus on the Theory of Constraints (TOC) approach to system constraints. This individual must be skilled in evaluating continuous improvement programs. Directs process improvement teams and drives process analysis and formal improvement recommendations.

The Project Manager – Continuous Improvement accurately scopes out the length and difficulty of tasks, and effectively drives decision making via the use of standard and advanced improvement methodologies like TOC. Serves as liaison and main point of contact in Airframe Maintenance, Line Maintenance, and MCC related to TOC, and coordinates internal and external opportunities to mentor and educate team members and internal customers on its application. The successful candidate must be able to drive cross-divisional collaboration by influencing others and drive requirement building methodologies, objectives, and solutions. The project manager uses TOC tool outcomes and data to articulate problems and solution options for senior leaders.

Additionally, the project manager will be responsible for evaluating current measurement systems and outlining best practices/standards for improving them. The project manager is responsible for conducting in-depth operational analysis, presentations, and strategic recommendations for leadership. This individual must be able to lead wide-ranging change management efforts, including managing and directing experts who create training and communications materials. This individual must be able to operate with minimal supervision and think strategically to overcome obstacles.
