    Project Manager Job Description

    We are seeking a full-time project manager to work with owners, subcontractors, and other team members to manage high-end residential construction projects from start to completion. The candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of the residential construction process including an understanding of building codes, construction materials/techniques, and project scheduling. The candidate must have a positive attitude and willingness to work with others to solve problems. The candidate should have good people skills and be a good communicator.

    General Overview of Responsibilities

    • Schedule subcontractors and trade partners and supervise their activities on a daily basis.
    • Communicate with homeowners onsite to coordinate selections, change orders, general questions on the build process, and move-in punchlist items.
    • Review and communicate with subcontractors on daily operations onsite and get any questions answered from builder/design team.
    • Update schedules, messages, and daily logs through our building portal “Buildertrend” Must be willing to learn and use new technology and systems on a daily basis.
    • Meet building inspectors for inspections as necessary.
    • Work closely with design team, builder, and homeowners to help keep jobs on schedule and maintain proper level of execution and craftsmanship.
    • Responsible for daily report logs when visiting each jobsite.
    • Basic carpentry skills encouraged but not required
