Full Job Description

Purpose:

Kessler’s is growing, and we are looking at add a Full Time Pricing Director to our team. The position will maintain the cost and retail file. He/she will also ensure that all product is received at the negotiated cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Receiving and Pricing Teams to ensure all team members are following core process procedures
  • Communicate with Merchandising, Store Directors and Department Managers to ensure accurate pricing
  • Oversee the receiving department to ensure accurate landed costs of product delivered
  • Process all cost and price changes
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure accurate costs
  • Coordinate aisle management to ensure all product is properly priced and signed
  • Provide needed reports for movements, cycle-work, and margins
  • Program weekly Ad and Ad-match prices changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Expectations:

  • Deliver accurate and timely results – be able to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Communicate daily/weekly information
  • Execute timely New Item entry, Not on File items and TPR pricing and signage requests

Requirements:

  • Strong written, verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment utilizing prioritization skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically excel)
  • Experience in working in database software (preferred)
  • Dependable and Motivated
