Accountable to Board of Directors; developing a clear vision for the chamber; work with current business plan; demonstrates vision with respect to the organization and its future. Works with committee chairs and the Board members to implement board decisions. Supervising and training staff, policy interpretation; membership growth and retention and revenue expansion. Serves as a spokesperson for the organization to the media, general public, potential donors and other community groups. Understands the importance of partnerships with other organizations and businesses to promote the growth of the business community. Oversight of the programs and operations policies and risk management.
