Part-Time Managing Director | BostonSpeaks

The ideal candidate will excel in both strategic and executional areas in order to implement initiatives to better the organization. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on a range of responsibilities including people management, implementing programs, and acting as the leader for the organization. You will work closely with the founder to lead and manage the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Be the “Glue” that holds everything together
  • Help lead efforts to launch new programs and grow the organization
  • Ensure that an annual budget is created and followed
  • Faithfully executes the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives
  • Leads, manages and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments
  • Integrates all major operating functions of the business. Ensures everyone is rowing together in the same direction. Models the way, always working toward the greater good of the business.
  • Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity
  • Makes sure day-to-day tasks run smoothly
  • Communicate and direct organization’s conversations around priorities, goals, and organization improvement areas

What You Need To Know:

  • Very flexible work schedule and environment (remote or in Boston)
  • Opportunity for this Part-Time position to move to Full-Time
  • Pay range: $18-$22 per hour (roughly 20-30 hours per week)
