We are creating a new kind of hospitality company, with refined units in beautiful luxury apartment buildings, welcoming our guests with the comfort of stylish, thoughtful furnishings, top-notch building amenities, and personalized service.

We are expanding rapidly and looking to hire an energetic, positive, and detail-oriented team member to help lead our expansion into new markets.

The Role:

• The Onsite Project Manager is singularly focused on making sure that new Kasas are ready for guests by their opening date. We take an empty apartment and have them furnished and fully-stocked in no time!
• Manage a team of contractors to:

– Coordinate the organization and distribution of furniture and supplies
– Build furniture and organize units based off of designer’s specs
– Clear rooms of any trash and clean to hotel-level quality

• During the build, the Project Manager is onsite making sure that everything is running smoothly. If you want to be at a desk all day then this is not the job for you! The role will involve significant travel to cities across the U.S. as we continue to grow.
• Develop solutions for potential guest questions & issues: check-in/check-out instructions and documentation, complete with pictures and video tours.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with building staff and ensure a smooth handoff of the relationship to the Landlord Success and Guest Experience team
• Help write and evolve our new unit playbook to improve and streamline our processes as we continue to grow.

The Skills:

• Project Management: There are 70+ tasks during each build, and you need to coordinate all the moving pieces to get the job done as efficiently and safely as possible.
• Attention to Detail: Love checklists? We’re looking for a quick learner who is efficient with their time and effort. You are obsessed with making sure every detail is perfect to ensure our guests have great experiences.
• Cool Under Pressure: As you can imagine, things don’t always go exactly to plan. You will need to be able to handle stressful situations while juggling multiple responsibilities, often with tight deadlines.
• Focused on Results: You are focused on completing the job at hand. We’re looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• An Eye for Efficiencies: We’re always looking to improve our operations, so we’re looking for someone who is always looking to make improvements and share their knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Excited to Travel: expect to spend 80-90% of your time on the road depending on the month
• Able to hire and supervise third-party contractors (movers, builders, housekeeping teams, etc.)
• Physically active and able to help with moving furniture and supplies when needed
• We are based in the SF Bay Area, but this position can be based anywhere – must be self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
• Basic “handyman” skills
