About You

You’re an experienced marketer with a passion for the job, comfortable utilizing both sides of your brain. You’re driven, tech-savvy, easily adaptable toindustry changes, and embraceambiguity in a fast-changing workplace. You’re relentlessly proactiveand organized, and pitch in to help your colleagues when they need it. A college degree in a related field and some industry experience is preferred. Hard money lending experience isn’t required, but maybe you’ve worked for a mortgage brokerage or spent some time in the financial or real estate sectors.

About the Job

This role isabout getting to know our borrowers (and potential borrowers) in depth andimplementing ways to communicate with them. You’d work closely with the leadership team to plan and execute marketing campaignsacross channels, ensuringevery communication is powered by our core mission and values.

When we say you need to be adaptable, we mean it! In a given day, your tasks might include:

  • Develop strategy with leadershipteam and outside marketing strategist
  • Segment customer lists for a variety of initiativesthrough CRM software
  • Plan, draft, edit,execute,and maintainemail campaigns
  • Champion and enforce consistent messaging and branding through all customer facing channels
  • Work in lockstep with Founder in managing PR
  • Fully assist sales staff with promotional events, taking every opportunity to join the events as needed
  • Conduct industry research to get to know our market better
  • Design new print collateralor work with future designated designers as needed
  • Lead and executesuccess in content creation and social media management
  • Collaborate with contractors to optimize SEO/PPC campaigns
  • Gather analytical data and create test strategies
  • Work with media or advertising partners
  • Plan, execute and attendcompany events, for staff only and/or for clients and 3rdparty partners

This job is challenging; it requires a strong multitasker and an exceptional self-starter. We’re looking for a creative marketer who can seize opportunities to build systems and a strong marketing foundation.

  • You would leadongoing creation and posting of content on our site blog and social media, according to our content mission, business goals, advertising campaigns and editorial calendar.
  • Engage customers with posts that ask for input, shared experiences, community feedback, etc.
  • Create posts that educate, promote new products, inspire with case studies
  • Produce informative and entertaining posts about the industry and real estate investing
  • Measure engagement, test new content, adjust posting strategy to boost reach
  • Understand and apply best practices for each social channel for optimal performance and ROI
  • Understand (or be able to learn) about real estate investing and hard money lending, to understand the needs of our audience and create content accordingly
  • Have great writing and communication skills, be able to help create content as well as manage content creation. Be able to communicate and write in a style that captures the company culture and/or find providers who can do the same.
  • Project manage, and coordinate with hired writers and other providers for timely content creation
  • Coordinate with sales staff to learn about customers and the industry and create relevant content to match
  • Assist marketing team in implementation of marketing strategy
  • Facilitate new-hire needs, such as business cards, signage, and form templates
  • Streamline or automate processes with outside departments as requested as related to marketing
  • Serve as project manager for short-term marketing projects, such as a software conversion or collateral redesign
  • Assist in research for both internal and external endeavors; this could include a broad spectrum of topics, such as market research, automation software, and broadcast channels
  • Enthusiastically perform other duties as requested

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 /year
