The PMO Project Manager is responsible for managing large cross-functional enterprise projects in compliance with the Company’s defined IT project management standards with the goal of delivering project objectives on time and within budget. Plan, develop and implement project plans consistent with project objectives. Provide guidance as necessary to other team members with the goal of process improvement and overall project management quality. assisting with planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, specifications development, project planning, project monitoring, and project status reporting and system implementation of moderate to complex business solution projects, as directed by the Director, Project Management Office.
This position reports directly to the Director, Project Management Office, who, in turn reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Responsibilities
- Manage all stages of the IT projects assigned, including planning, implementing and monitoring activities. Work with team members to develop project plans and activities with appropriate tasks, resources, milestones, cost analysis and timelines.
- Provide appropriate business analysis by working closely with business areas to understand the business need and identifying alternative technical solutions to meet that need.
- Manage project activities utilizing established and proven Project Life Cycle processes, procedures and tools to include planning, coordinating all project activities, project status meetings, system specifications design and review, technical review, system testing, system implementation, post implementation review.
- Develops and maintains detailed project plans. Responsible for reporting project status to Project Management, IT Management, business unit project sponsor and other key business leaders as needed.
- Provides day-to-day project coordination, planning and implementation of multiple projects across all product lines.
- Helps the business unit understand key success factors, critical requirements and what is needed to make the business unit successful. Evaluates needs and assists in identification of business / technical solutions. Seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Manages client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or 5+ years comparable previous IT related experience is required.
- Minimum 3 years of coordination of IT projects.
- Project Management Certification.
- Previous exposure to formal change control and risk management methodologies, business analysis / design experience, and software design and development experience are preferred.
- Experience in budget and financial management and reporting a plus.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project or equivalent.
