What you’ll do
- You will establish and lead the research agenda for a new Research Lab, in particular in the field of machine listening.
- You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Product and GM executives as well as senior members in the mission to align the strategy and impact roadmap.
- You’ll develop, hire and enable incredible researchers from PhD student level to tenured and established industry leaders, as well as research engineers and PMs.
- You’ll lead research, innovation, and impact of a team of dozens of people
- You should be based either in London or NYC some travel expected.
Who you are
- You have led mixed discipline teams in the industry that have included research, engineering and product.
- You have significant experience managing large teams and operating at the Director level in product-based organizations.
- You have a deep engineering understanding and impact focus such that you can drive an impactful and realistic research agenda.
- You have experience with productizing advanced research.
- You are deeply focused on impact and the value we can bring to the world.
- You are an experienced stakeholder manager and have a track record in delivering complex projects to a successful conclusion
This role will report directly to the Head of Content Platform and will be a member of the Content Platform leadership team
