Head of Products – DevOps

Idera’s DevOps tools business unit is looking for a talented, DevOps-passionate individual to lead our product management function.

Our team is laser-focused on our users’ needs and adept at working with engineering, sales, support and marketing to deliver the easiest to use, most valuable products in the DevOps tools market.

You will be successful in this role if:

• You have first-hand experience with DevOps tooling and processes and appreciate the needs of developers, testers and operations teams in terms of successful application delivery.
• You know how to inspire technical teams to reach their highest potential.
• You develop and tune process disciplines that enable you and your team to scale operationally and efficiently.
• You are adept at inspiring engineering teams to translate customer needs into workable technology solutions.
• You are a pragmatic visionary that enjoys interacting with customers and internal stakeholders to formulate business strategies and shape product direction.
• You are comfortable with feature and requirement definitions, customer interviews and surveys, metrics analysis, and competitive analysis.
• You are particularly adept at synthesizing these inputs into requirements definition. Have experience working with and influencing remote development teams to deliver.
• You are a proven problem solver, able to think creatively in order to remove obstacles.
• You prefer to be hands-on with your products, able to install and use what your target users use, putting yourself in their shoes.
• You are comfortable evangelizing your products: authoring blogs, presenting webinars and other user community activities.
• Are comfortable being in a highly visible position that will interact at all levels within a major software company. Your ability to communicate and influence others are the keys to your success.
