Reporting to the Global Chief Data & Analytics Officer and working as a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Data & Analytics Innovation will play a pivotal role in transforming data-driven decision making and driving industry-leading business strategies and outcomes. Enabling innovation through external partnerships is a critical component of Cigna’s strategy to provide personalized service to our customers, drive affordability in the healthcare system, and improve health and wellness. The Head of Data & Analytics Innovation will lead partnership efforts with start-ups, commercial and academic institutions tha · A minimum of 10 years industry experience solving business problems through application of innovative data and analytics approaches and emerging technologies · Preferred experience in healthcare, consulting, investment or venture capital industries managing innovation efforts with a focus on data and analytics · Advanced degree in business or quantitative field with an emphasis on business applications and financial impact of advanced analytics and big data technologies · Proven track record for success in building out best-in-class capabilities at the enterprise level identifying, evaluating and deploying successful partnership strategies in data and analytics field · Demonstrated expertise in innovation across multiple areas including: data science, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, IoT, big data, robotics/automation; knowledge of big data (structured/unstruct
