The Executive Assistant to the President & CEO provides professional, executive support to the President & CEO of Revance Therapeutics Inc. In addition to supporting the President & CEO, this position interacts with and supports the Companyâs Board of Director activities, including Board meetings, Committee meetings and other key external business relationships involving the CEO. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, executive presence and intellect. This role is highly visible and the incumbent needs to be an ambassador of the Office of the CEO mirroring the values and professionalism of that office to the organization. The incumbent must be confidential and astute in handling of confidential information. This position plays a key role with other C-Suite executives and is seen as a leader and role model for other assistants throughout the organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Provides high level professional, executive support to the President & CEO.
- Coordinates communication between Pres. & CEO, Board Members, senior management, investors, physicians, customers, corporate partners as well as other executives in and outside the company.
- Prepares and collects information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals.
- Prepares agendas for Executive meetings and Board meetings.
- Prepares presentation materials for Board of Director meetings, as well as investor meetings where the Pres. & CEO is presenting. Makes high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company.
- Manages calendars, prioritizing meeting requests with internal and external groups, and ensures connectivity of remote participants without delays.
- Coordinates complex business travel arrangements both domestically and internationally.
- Assists with scheduling and organizing materials for Board Committee meetings.
- Manages meeting logistics for executive offsite meetings, board meetings, company meetings and other company events as requested.
- Exercises discretion and judgment in sensitive and confidential matters.
- Understands the organization and knows how to get things done.
- Manages day-to-day operations of the CEO office.
- Handles POâs and invoices for department budget. Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met by company vendors related to office management.
- Acts with sense of urgency and understands need for responsiveness after hours and weekends, as needed.
- Works with other senior level executive assistants to maintain high functioning office operations.
- Serves as a back-up to other administrative staff supporting the C-level executives as needed.
- Provides administrative support to HR leadership that reports to the CEO.
Education
Minimum Required:
B.A. degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
Minimum Required:
- Minimum 10 years related experience directly supporting CEOs, Board and other Executives.
- Support or professional interactions with external business associates, e.g. venture capital partners, investors, analysts, etc.
- Professional certification or equivalent experience in working with senior level executives within and outside the company, as well as experience with customers, vendors, visitors, and other dignitaries.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum Required:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Visio, and Directorâs Desk.
- Technology savvy and experienced with social media and internet communication platforms
