Position Overview
The Director of Game and Event Presentation will have the primary responsibility of leading a team of staffed and freelance production professionals toward flawless delivery of the organization’s event and game presentations. From concept development to creative direction, this position will execute all video board and field/stage entertainment presentations. With imagination, smart strategy, and exceptional production management, this role will help define and deliver the Raiders’ fan experience at Allegiant Stadium in the live entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
This position will work alongside creative counterparts in Silver and Black Productions, Event Operations Department, Corporate Partnerships Department, Raiderette Department, and others to execute across a calendar of events. He/she will also have the duties of building a staff, working with vendors, and researching and developing innovative ways to tell the stories that matter most to the organization through live event production. From concept to creation, this is a creative position with an eye on details and delivery.
Essential Job Functions
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage seasonal part-time gameday staff
- Guide and mentor staff, providing them with clear planning, processes and goals, as well as seeing to their well-being and personal evolution
- Establish vendor relationships and budgets; contracts and execution
- Conceptualize, develop, and facilitate the implementation of creative programming related to all in-stadium entertainment (e.g., sponsor features, fan contests, music performances, etc.)
- Lead ideation and creation of all stylized elements for use on video displays and speakers
- Lead in-game strategy to create home field advantage for Raiders, in all scenarios
- Fluent understanding of consumer music (ASCAP,SESAC, BMI) and Raiders music library, with constant fresh ideas to support all situations – pregame, in-game, timeouts, halftime, post game
- Write game day and event public address announcements, scripts, and rundowns
- Work year-round researching talent for performances of our national anthem, honor/color guards, DJ’s, and other on-field and event entertainment programs
- Create and communicate schedules/plans for gameday staff, participants, and performers
- Lead the exploration, planning, and implementation of production/theatrical elements to enhance overall game and event presentation
- Oversee the game day and event execution of contests, promotions and other activations performed during designated periods
- Accountable for game day and event set-up and break-down of equipment, inventory, maintenance and upkeep of props and storage areas
- Maintain a positive relationship with stadium operations staff
- Learn and become fluent in Raiders history and present-day team story
- Serve as liaison between stadium operations crew and the Raiders seasonal entertainment staff
- Understand and display a thorough knowledge of live production; including camera blocking, video and music direction
- Make time-sensitive decisions that may affect the organization’s goals and objectives
- Serve as a guest representative for venue information such as stadium layout, seating sections, and emergency activity procedures, as needed
- Work cohesively with other departments to execute entertainment elements
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in live entertainment production
- A proven history of increasing responsibility in planning and management of entertainment and event experiences
- Thorough knowledge of today’s production environments, which include the latest technologies around cameras, video switching, lighting, replay, and graphics.

- Experience with headset communication devices
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and scripting software; ShoFlo
- Previous experience in sporting events is a plus, but not a requirement

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible regarding work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
