The Commercial Project Manager (Deal Desk) collaborates with the commercial team members to connect, coordinate and prioritize the necessary resources to further deal strategy and support business growth. In this role, you will partner with internal and external resources on deals of moderate to large size and complexity to identify the right deal team members, manage timelines and document important deal details. The ideal candidate is committed to providing a seamless customer experience, enjoys managing multiple competing priorities and can effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.

The location of this role is flexible with the ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with commercial teams to prioritize customer opportunities.
  • Manage complex and high level RFPs and RFIs by documenting customer needs, goals and opportunities, facilitating customer calls and ensuring quality and accuracy of information.
  • Coordinate deal team communication including internal strategy discussions, planning and Q&A sessions.
  • Manage web sites and bid sites ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with a variety of internal teams to create deliverables aligned to customer goals.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone, email, skype, in person, RFP submissions, etc.
  • Attend meetings with customers and manage action items, next steps and key follow up items.
  • Support sales team members by assisting with complex deal development, sales strategy and process improvements.
  • Perform critical project related tasks such as managing documents, ensuring timelines are met and tracking and providing ongoing updates to commercial team members and customers.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University
  • Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

  • Previous sales, project management or customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong solutions orientation and problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of projects and prioritize work
