THF Housing Management Corporation (THFHMC) is a rapidly growing Texas-based manager of affordable multifamily properties headquartered in Marble Falls, Texas. The organization specializes in providing quality affordable housing throughout the state of Texas. THFHMC currently manages approximately 4,000 housing units with more being added every year. THFHMC’s rental portfolio consists primarily of rural properties located in communities across Texas and funded via the LIHTC program and USDA’s Rural Development program, with other affordable programs layered in as well. THFHMC utilizes OneSite software throughout its rental portfolio.
The Housing Management Director is responsible for ensuring that communities managed by THFHMC have the highest physical and economic occupancy, are operated profitably, and comply with all governmental agency regulations and reporting requirements. This individual will oversee all management operations covering the state of Texas. Some travel is required.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversee operational staff
- Ensure Property Managers are using best practices to oversee each property
- Drive the highest potential physical and economic occupancies at all properties
- Ensure the properties have the best curb appeal possible
- Oversee lease-ups
- Assist in the preparation of annual property budgets
- Ensure that management staff conduct themselves professionally and represent the organization in the best manner possible
- Oversee the file approval process for all communities
- Oversee all other issues and duties related to the field operations of the management division

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years’ experience overseeing operational staff for a sizable rental housing portfolio required
- 10+ years’ experience overseeing operational staff for a sizable rental housing portfolio required
- 10+ years’ experience with affordable housing programs preferred
- OneSite software experience preferred
- Able to prioritize work/projects to meet various deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- A proven team builder and leader who demonstrates a collaborative attitude.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
