Support Account Executives by selling voluntary products; manage marketing and consulting on Voluntary Benefit solutions; manage implementation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Attend meetings with Account Executives to educate clients regarding Keenan Voluntary Plans.
  • Expert on new product offerings, enrollment methods, partnerships and solutions.
  • Educate HealthCare team on the value of voluntary benefits.
  • Project lead on new sales and implementation.
  • Responsible for coordinating the relationships with Carriers, Account Executives, Agents, enrollment companies, software and hardware vendors as well as independent benefit counselors and clients!
  • Establish written policies and procedures to set service level standards for Voluntary Benefit vendors.
  • Negotiate commissions with carriers and enrollment companies.
  • Maintain day-to-day operation and balance budget requirements.
  • Manage the department goals and directives.
  • Oversee dependent audits and provide cost savings analysis.
  • Calculate and provide Account Executives production numbers to Finance.
  • Report and track commissions.
  • Retain all existing business by maintaining high level of service.
  • Manage all independent enrollers and enrollment companies.


MINIMUM SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS
:
  • 5 – 10 years of employee benefits sales and consulting experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience.
  • Strong data analysis and process flow skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • High sense of ownership.

SOFTWARE: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use manual dexterity, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and speak or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, stand and sit. Position requires employee to frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects and occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to move objects.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

Normally not exposed to conditions that are discomforting or disagreeable.
