To help maintain andgrow this standard we are currently hiring an experienced Vice President of Operationsto oversee daily activities.

In this role, you’ll have a sharp business mind,proven success in managing multiple departments and the ability to develop andmaintain an environment of trust, diversity and inclusion within your team. Inthis role you will directly report to the President.

Thesedepartments will be your responsibility:

  • Service – bench, installation and fieldrepair
  • Project Management
  • Quoting
  • Project Documentation
  • Warehouse


CoreResponsibilities:

  • Organizes and oversees the schedules andwork of assigned staff
  • Performs quote preparation and posting documentationof projects
  • Handles discipline and termination ofemployees as needed and in accordance with company policy
  • Oversee project management
  • Managing of 3rd partyinstallation partners
  • Oversees the shipping and receivingfunctions
  • Conducts budget reviews and repost costplans to upper management
  • Measures productivity by analyzingperformance data, financial data, and activity reports
  • Coordinates with other support departmentssuch as human resources, finance and logistics to ensure successful productionoperations
  • Determines labor needs to meet productiongoals
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team withina time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementationof career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
  • Manage timely data collection to updateoperations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit,eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Partners with cross-functional supportteams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
  • Performs other related duties as required


RequiredSkills/Experience:

  • 5 years proven experience in an operationsmanagement position
  • P&L Experience
  • Strong budget development and oversightskills
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilitieswhile maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customerservice
  • Highly trained in conflict management andbusiness negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software andaptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree in operationsmanagement, business administration or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Two-Way Radios and DistributiveAntenna Systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems (we useEpicor)
  • CRM (we use Infor/Sales Logix)
  • Low Voltage Installation and Management
  • Experience with camera and access controlsystems
