The Vice President of Commercial Tire will lead our commercial tire group in all aspects of the business, including sales, service and retreading departments. The VP of Commercial Tire will oversee our six commercial tire centers, in addition to our commercial retread facility. This individual will deliver industry leading solutions that provides value to our customers and team members, helping us to be a leader in our industry. This individual will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the commercial tire operations, as well as the culture of the commercial tire team.

- Serve our commercial tire group with strategic leadership and vision. Develop and execute strategic growth plans that are aligned with company initiatives and long-term growth.
- Partner with commercial team peers to deliver industry leading commercial truck solutions for our customers.
- This position should continuously think “One Bergey” in terms of driving cross functional opportunities.
- Set and deliver budget, goals, salaries and incentives aligned to performance goals.
- Effectively communicate with team members, customers and suppliers to achieve company goals.
- Partner with tire OEM’s and suppliers to develop and foster strong working relationships, including purchase negotiations.
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other service and production KPI goals to measure productivity and goal achievement.
- Assess departmental and site performance and devise plans for improvement.
- Maintain and build upon safety culture and ensure employees operate within best practices for safety.
- Oversee Quality Control to ensure proper performance and compliance with company quality standards as well as to improve service and production processes to reduce quality errors.
- Ensure that facilities are kept clean and presentable to customers and vendors.
- Allocate budget resources for suppliers, equipment, and personnel.
Requirements:
- Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Hardworking, self-starter with ability to coach and motivate a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
