Role Purpose

The Vice President of Analytics develops strategy, vision and goals for business intelligence and internal analytics practices. This position will build a team of technical analysts that use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into past business performance and inform decision making to impact future business performance. This team will identify areas of strategic focus and develop analytical approaches and methodologies.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Develop quantitative and advanced econometric analyses, data mining, predictive modeling, and visualization expertise within an Analytics Team

a. Define and implement standards and procedures for the collecting data from multiple data sources

b. Define and document 1st Franklin Financial’s data entities and their interrelationships from both a business and a technical standpoint

c. Deploy visualization strategies from business requirements to create reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision making

2. Establish standards and procedures for testing the validity of the analytics team’s work product

3. Interact with company executives to define objectives, to establish requirements, and to present solutions

4. Develop and maintain a sustainable analytics practice by defining and establishing roles and responsibilities, setting and managing a team budget, and managing team performance

5. Research and adopt current industry best practices

6. Ensure Compliance

Education, Qualifications, Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science or related field

· Minimum five (5) years’ experience managing a team

· Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information

· Experience of multi-site business operations.

· Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgement

· Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and greatly differing social and business settings

· Action focused

· Strong communication skills (verbal / written / interpersonal)

· Ability to travel periodically

· Proficient with MS Office Suite products

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate an automobile

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 /year
