JOB SUMMARY:

Leads strategic planning and execution of client services organization, with full P&L ownership on all contracts for assigned area. Responsible for client retention, assessing and managing the risk associated with client relationships, achieving financial goals, attaining industry-related metrics of success, levering technology, innovation, driving company mission, developing company growth opportunities, leading the internal team, collaborating across the organization and ensuring clients receive quality service, value and exceptional performance.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop strategic initiatives to sell and retain state, health plan, group and individual, vision and new products within assigned area. Lead implementation of the same.
  • Drive business results for assigned state including revenue, membership, loss ratio, and person centered- health initiatives, exemplary industry standard metrics such as QUARR scores and overall pre-tax income.
  • Create strategies for competitive advantage to grow business.
  • Assess external business and governmental environments impacting dental services and insurance to develop both external relationships and internal plans that sustain and enhance business results.
  • Promote and design continuous improvements in process, technology and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with leadership team to ensure that all pre-determined service levels are achieved and customer requirements are exceeded, including but limited to contract compliance.
  • Assess risk and make final determinations on client and provider financial matters impacting service, revenue and brand.
  • Protect our core business by managing contract requirements and negotiations for new and existing clients including additional services and leading retention plans.
  • Identify client expectations, collaborate internally to execute consistently with those expectations.
  • Manage department budget and resources consistently with overall financial, operational, mission goals and long-term goals.
  • Develop internal team to exemplary performance of assigned responsibilities including talent acquisition, talent management, inclusion, employment relations, engagement and issue resolution.
  • Guide clients through critical contracting, compliance, financial and operational business issues.
  • Lead team to improve the oral health of all internally and externally
  • Direct Request for Proposal (RFP) process and seek new business opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in healthcare management.
    • Progressive experience displaying executive leadership competencies required.
    • 12 years of experience in marketing, account management or sales.
    • Strong leadership acumen, planning, organizing, strategic thinking, negotiation,
    • communication and business judgement.
    • Ability to strategically develop annual and long-term plans.
    • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of general computer software.


  • PREFFERED REQUIRMENTS:
  • Master’s degree.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25lbs.)
  • Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out position own position responsibilities (i.e. use of personal computer).
  • Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.
  • Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
