We are seeking a Task Order Project Manager in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Description:
The Task Order Project Manager will perform project management and oversight/planning in accordance with the general standards put forth by DOD, DLA, and DLA Energy. They will serve as the single point-of-contact to ensure effective project management, direction, administration, quality assurance and control of the task order.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Provide a Project Management Plan.
- Manage daily operations and all projects.
- Perform risk assessments, mitigation and performance management.
- Ensure all deliverables are delivered.
- Attend meetings as directed by the COR or other J62 management representatives.
- Work with DLA Management on all EPST related activities as directed.
- Make sure that all performance goals are met.
- Ensure appropriate skill sets are onboard.
- Ensure issues and action items addressed.
- Provide staffing information (roll on/off).
- Maintain 8570 requirements for all contractors.
- Track access expiration dates and AMPS requests.
- Ensure all documentation is uploaded into the Government Repository (SharePoint).
- Lead transition end plan.
- Provide in-person monthly In Process Reviews (IPRs) at the request of the government.
- Provide information/slides to the CO and COR five (5) working days in advance of the IPR.
- Assists with proposal development, if necessary.
Experience:
- Five (5) yearsâ experience in program management.
- Five (5) yearsâ leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
- Experience with the Information Technology Acquisition process and its milestones.
- Experience in analyzing a variety of source documentation and supporting the creation of acquisition documentation.
Education:
- BS or BA OR four (4) additional years of related experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must hold a Project or Program Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project or Program Management certification).
Other Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
