What You’ll Do

  • As a member of our CTO Office, you will be part of the team responsible for shaping the technical future of our company.
  • You will work closely with our customers, sales & marketing team, development & data science teams, and the CTO to innovate our products, revolutionizing the way application security is achieved in the cloud.
  • You will lead the prototyping and development of new technologies and modules for the Application Controller, which is the policy and risk engine for modern multicloud environments.
  • Working with our clients and strategic partners, you will define requirements related to new security and risk outcomes, enabling them to adopt multicloud architectures in a secure, dynamic manner.
  • You will be ‘hands-on’, rapidly developing prototypes of concepts and iterating quickly upon results and feedback.
  • You will be involved in the transition of successful R&D projects into full product development sprints – in particular assisting our development teams in creating high quality, scalable code for distributed systems
  • You will provide engineering leadership and educate others around cloud native security methods, building cloud-ready, robust and scalable solutions for our customers
  • You will work closely with our customers, sales & marketing team, development, UX & data science teams, and the CTO to innovate our products, revolutionizing the way application security is achieved in the cloud
  • You will work with energetic scrum teams, mentoring others and advocating for best practices and the adoption of software design patterns
  • You will be curious and driven to explore new technologies and learn new skills to continuously improve the way we operate

About You

  • You will be passionate about cloud security, and the creation of cutting-edge technologies to allow the largest businesses in the world protect their assets in complex, dynamic, modern multicloud environments
  • Proven track record in the development of cloud-native security services; in particular in the areas of network security policy, cloud security policy, or identity and access management (IAM). Experience of data access methods and security solutions would be a bonus
  • Expertise in Cloud IAM solutions and architectures, including knowledge of IAM policy models (RBAC, ABAC), AuthN, AuthZ, X500, Active Directories (Azure and Corp), AWS Macie
  • Knowledge of cloud networking – SDNs and public cloud implementations
  • Proven track record of rapidly iterating new technology ideas, working closely with customers and product development/UX teams
  • Proven track record in architecting and implementing cloud-based security or orchestration/automation systems
  • Experience in cloud-native distributed systems architectures leveraging big data pipelines and datastores
  • Experience in delivering SaaS products using agile development methodologies (ex. TDD)
  • Strong development skills in multiple languages and frameworks (ex. Python, Java, React.js, Go, Swagger)
  • Solid database fundamentals, ideally with specific knowledge of graph databases and experience optimizing for massive datasets. Experience working with Data Science teams in order to develop scalable and effective models for data analysis
  • Extensive experience with open source technologies (e.g. Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes) and Cloud API integration
  • Proven ability to liaise with a senior technical audience from customer organizations, partners and executives
  • B.S. or preferably M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years relevant experience
  • A passion for innovation and adoption of new concepts, architectures and technologies
