Job Purpose
The work involved is related to the overall management and general business of the IT Project Management, IT Governance, and Portfolio management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. A primary duty is to exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the Americas IT Department.
a. Work directly with Sr. Management to understand strategic business needs/inatiatives
b. Communiate across all levels of technical and non technical personnel to ensure full understanding of project goales/issues/objectives. Influcening stakeholders to drive projects to positive completion and business value.
c. Ability to work with geographically diverse teams, including international, to ensure enterprise-wide adption and success of key deliverables
2. Oversight of approach, scope, budget, and schedule for Key Technology initiatives which can involve SAP, BaaN, Microsoft and other technology platforms.
3. Guide the deployment of enterprise wide IT based initiatives:
a. Oversee requirements definition and procurement
b. Facilitate design and development with business departments and technology personnel.
c. Ensure designs & implementations meet business objectives.
d. Ensure conformance to best practice system development and implementation methodologies
e. Ensure adherence to application architecture and technology standards
4. Evaluate risk of initiatives and identify/monitor/rectify/escalate situations/designs/practices that place the initiative, business objectives, or the company at risk.
5. Coordinate with business executives to influence outcomes of key business and technology iniatives
6. Work directly with business stakeholders to projects and programs achive and are alighned with business outcomes.
Qualifications

- 10 Years of Project Management / Program Management / IT Management
- 5 Years of ERP or packaged software implemenation experience
- B.S in Information System, Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA desirable.
- Consulting experience desirable.
- Experieince with integration of aqusistions desireable.
- Fluency in English
- Any level of French, German, and Chinese highly desirable
- Strong Analytical and reasoning ability required.
- A knowledge/experience with multiple application, technology, and database platforms is required.
TRAVEL REQUIRED: May involve significant travel depending upon the inatitive. The position is based in Reading PA.
