The Role:
In this role, you will partner with and support our Territory Managers in a way to promote sound selling and management techniques to maximize their time and talents to foster success for our dealers. Our products are designed to benefit the dealer, the company, and our customers based around sound principles.
The right candidate will be willing and able to:
- Help establish goals for Territory Managers with Sales Management concerning products, sales calls, training, new dealer sign ups, and other areas as they arise.
- Coach Territory Managers in effective demonstration and presentation skills.
- Help plan and implement annual sales goals.
- Support Territory Managers concerning product and various dealer issues.
- Train Territory Managers on new products and sales tools throughout the year.
- Cover open territories when applicable.
- Work with Territory Managers on show arrangements, products, and agendas. Support Territory Managers at shows along with others in Sales Management.
- Help plan and participate in Sales Meetings.
- Meet weekly with VP of Sales to discuss future agendas and past week’s accomplishments.
- Travel with Territory Managers to assist with dealer calls.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Dealer and Field experience required.
- Strong written, verbal and presentational skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel and stay out several nights per week.
- Highly self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Work with minimal or no supervision.
- Committed to quality work.
- Willing to complete tasks in a time sensitive environment.
- Develop the initial skills for leadership: providing feedback and giving recognition.
