We seek a Project Manager to join us in support of Defense Health Agency (DHA) Veterinary Service Branch (VSB) for Veterinary Services Systems Management (VSSM) system administration and user support.

The Project Management day-to-day activities will include but may not be limited to the following:

• Manage project operations and ensure production schedules are met.
• Ensure system resources are used effectively.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices.
• Responsible for managing the development of complex software/ hardware systems, coordinating large planning efforts for enterprise software/hardware solutions, and planning and managing multiple teams.
• Direct, plan, organize, control and manage the project to ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled in an efficient and timely manner.
• Serve as point of contact with the Contracting Officer’s Representative and ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
• Provides users with computer output. Supervises staff operations. Coordinates the resolution of production-related problems.
• Manages multiple concurrent analysis and development tasks, formulates and enforces work standards, develops schedules, reviews work discrepancies, communicates organizational policies, procedures and goals, manages and controls resources.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 10 years of experience managing the development of complex software/ hardware systems
• Experience coordinating large planning efforts for enterprise software/hardware solutions
• Experience planning and managing multiple contracts
• Must reside within 50 miles of San Antonio, TX 78245
