Job Description This is a Seasonal Work from Home Processing Clerk position. As a Processing Clerk you would be monitoring internal systems to schedule appointments for clients with a qualified Jackson Hewitt Tax Professional and continue to monitor the progress of the appointment and Tax Return preparation. If our system identify a client whose appointment needs or the completion of their tax return is not progressing timely you will make outbound calls/emails to company-owned tax offices to collect additional information from the tax return preparer. Other administrative duties may also be requested.

Tax experience is a plus but not required. Good computer skills and experience using Online Applications is required. This work from home position means that your scheduled work hours are performed from a home-based office, using telecommunication technologies and equipment in lieu of traveling to and from a Company office. You will use your own computer and internet service. Your work space must be in an area free from external noise that could interfere with portraying a professional work environment. Seasonal employees may remain with Jackson Hewitt in a temporary capacity up to 4 months, depending on business need. Hours for all staff increases during our peak season and average between 24 to 40 hours per week. Schedule flexibility is required. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and typically one or both weekend days. This is a great job for college students and/or professionals looking for a temporary assignment.

Experience/Requirements:
College Degree or working towards a degree

Computer skills – Internet and Online Applications exp necessary

Detail orientation

Flexible Schedule

Quick learner with the ability to work independently

Strong verbal and written communicate skills

Tax experience is a plus but not required

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
