GINM is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization with its main offices at 5000 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 and facilities in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Santa Fe, Gallup, Farmington, Las Cruces, Roswell and Clovis, New Mexico. GINM has approximately 420 employees. Our mission is to provide skills training, job development and social services for New Mexicans. GINM provides those services in all 33 New Mexico counties. To fulfill this mission, goods are donated by the general public and are sold at retail locations generating revenue to support GINMâs vocational and social services programs. Additionally, GINM participates in and manages several governmental grants programs such as the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), the Social Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP), and several others. GINM programs and services are available to persons served at no cost to them. These programs include job assessment, job training, job placement and job retention services, as well as veteran housing assistance, case management and a host of other vocational or life skills assistance services. Goodwill Industries of New Mexico, Inc. (GINM) is seeking a President & Chief Executive Officer to work with the Board of Directors in establishing a vision and strategic objectives for and to lead the organization forward into the future while meeting those objectives. The President / CEO interacts with and represents GINM to local government leaders, community partners and leaders, and the public. The successful candidate will have a proven record of efficient operations heading a large organization while driving organizational growth and meeting organizational objectives. This individual will have excellent abilities to visualize the path forward for the organization, maintain financial stability, to problem solve, and prioritize actions to accomplish the mission of the organization.
The requirements of the position include a minimum of 10 years of successful executive leadership in a multifaceted organization, a proven history of integrity, honesty, forward thinking, and conscientious social responsibility. Demonstrated experience in a mission-based, socially responsible organization with first-hand knowledge of budgets, planning, and working with a Board of Directors is essential. A demonstrated history of community involvement and experience with a nonprofit organization is desired. Proficiency with technology and management systems is required. Experience with Goodwill Industries is a plus.
