The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter who is proactive, flexible, detail-oriented and loves to travel. The COO is an extraordinarily individual with an extensive travel schedule (multiple cities a month) and be based in Spring, TX. The candidate will also be computer savvy, highly proficient in Word, Excel and Google Suite.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

This is a unique role in which you’ll be assisting the COO’s schedule and completing day to day tasks – scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, research and preparation, etc. The job requires absolute discretion and confidentiality.

Task may include (but not limited to):

  • Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly calendar management
  • Reminding the COO of important tasks and deadlines
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Arrange business and personal travel with preferences in mind
  • Assist in arranging flights, hotels, greeters and car service
  • Last minute errands, dry cleaning or anything personal that comes up for COO
  • Communicate effectively with personal contacts, family, staff and clients
  • Attend meetings, take notes and execute on action items
  • Travel with COO to company offices across the country

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks from multiple constituents – COO, COO’s family, other members of the Office of the COO
  • Advanced level written & verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with an executive
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite – Gmail, Google Docs
  • Heavy international coordination experience: calendar arrangements, dealing with multiple time zones, travel arrangements, scheduling (professional and personal) and expenses
  • Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot issues independently
  • Extreme discretion and confidentiality, tact, independent judgment, flexibility, dependability and accountability
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of client service and response

Willing to travel (domestic and international) up to 80% of the time, including on nights/weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
