We are looking for an experienced professional to lead Micron’s University Relations team and help us to continue developing an outstanding new college graduate and intern recruiting program. We have already laid the foundation that you will build upon!

As the NA University Relations Manager, you will partner with Executives, HR Business Partners, and Hiring Managers to understand specific business needs and develop, implement, and execute customized recruitment strategies to attract top, diverse talent. In this highly visible role, you will have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your expertise in University recruiting and relations, promoting our world-class Micron brand, leading and developing a team of talented recruiters, and building the pipeline of talent for current and future needs of the company.


Job Responsibilities

  • Execute University Relations strategy and provide program administration in North America that will include strategic university identification, employer branding, continuous process improvement, and technology assessment and optimization
  • Recruit, hire, onboard and convert top, diverse intern talent and lead the internship program across all company sites in the USA
  • Lead a team of highly motivated and engaged recruiters
  • Build and maintain relations with key University partners
  • Actively participate in the Micron global recruiting community on standard methodologies for university relations
  • Provide and analyze data, metrics, and reports to multiple partners and recommend actions to enhance business outcomes


Capabilities/Proficiencies Required

  • Outstanding organization and planning skills and demonstrable ability to execute against set plans in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with University contacts
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion recruitment challenges, approaches, and effective methodologies
  • Experience collaborating across organizational and geographic boundaries
  • Experience crafting and delivering communication materials and representing a corporate brand for the purposes of developing positive relationships with universities and students


Desired Experience

  • 3 years minimum of University Relations program management experience required
  • 7 – 10 years of recruitment experience preferred including college and Intern recruiting
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver on a recruiting plan and coordinate a country program in a complex environment


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree


Travel:

Ability to travel up to 30% annually
