    Local community bank with 130-year history of serving customers in the Texas County, MO area is seeking a Market President for the Houston, MO market.

    Essential Functions:

    · Exercises control over the sales and operational functions of the Houston, MO branch office

    · Directly leads and manages market staff in support of corporate sales goals and strategic change initiatives

    · Provides sales leadership and works closely with staff in growing deposits, loans, and the sale of other bank products

    · Provides effective coaching and supervision of local team-members and collaborates on customer and employee issues

    · Responsible for income and expenses of their bank location, both actual and budgeted

    · Responsible for the implementation of bank policies, procedures and objectives

    · Directly solicits business from potential and existing customers, to include loans and deposits

    · Approves loans that meet established lending criteria and are within approved lending limits

    · Manages a portfolio of consumer and commercial loans

    · Maintains strong customer relationships

    · Monitors the competitive environment by staying abreast of changes in the financial services industry and assesses the competition’s rates and services

    · Represents the financial institution in public relations activities and community affairs.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

    · A minimum of five (5) years experience in a financial institution as a commercial lender

    · Ag Lending experience also required

    · Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

    · Proven sales success and strong business acumen

    · Knowledgeable of laws and regulations applicable to banking and lending practices

    · Strong community presence with an established network
