Duties and Responsibilities:
R Work with client to understand surveying needs and determine best approach to meet them
R Creating project scope, budget and schedule
R Manage field crew and drafting to complete project scope within budget and schedule
R Follow policies and procedures for efficient and accurate workflow
R Determine property boundaries
R Review title commitments and legal documents
R Review and redline drafts from team members
R Ensure final product meets company/state/municipality standards
R Prepare property descriptions
R Maintain records and prepare reports
R Process field data to prepare drawings
R Prepare calculations for Construction Staking
R Draft Topographic Surveys
R Draft Oil & Gas Surveys
R Draft Boundary Surveys
R Draft Easement Exhibits
R Draft Basemaps
R Maintain records and prepare reports
Qualifications:
R Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (State of Colorado)
R Experience with AutoCAD/Civi3D/Carlson
R Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
R Experience with Trimble Business Center
R Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests and background checks
R Ability to give written and oral instructions
R Ability to communicate effectively
R Ability to apply principles and practices of land surveying
R Strong attention to detail
R Professionalism
R Strong math skills
R Team oriented
R Client focused
Preferred Characteristics:
R Knowledge of Pix4d and aerial photogrammetry software
R Field land surveying experience
R Construction/Engineering or Oil & Gas experience
R Current Safety training (OSHA, Safeland, H2S, CPR, First Aid)
