    We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, and customer-service focused International Move Manager, to lead our team. The candidate we select will be accountable for all customer service on international relocations for national accounts, government and private business. Communicates with the transferee/account throughout the entire relocation process. Develops international rate quotations and routings and coordinates the movement of international shipments worldwide

    Responsibilities include:

    Responsibilities include:
    1. Acting as a liaison to corporate clients, Hilldrup’s International sales team, international transportation service providers and our global partner network;
    2. Serving as primary point of contact for transferee/client for international relocations; ensuring highest levels of quality customer service delivery;
    3. Providing professional, customer-oriented guidance and counseling to clients regarding the international relocation process including: reviewing customs regulations and required documentation with transferree;
    4. Developing international rate quotations and routings and coordinating movement of international shipments worldwide; ensuring that moves are cost effective, efficient and minimize losses;
    5. Constructing and communicating competitive and accurate rate quotations in a timely manner; confirming domestic and international rates and services for all underlying transportation service providers;
    6. Monitoring all international shipments through the move management system;
    7. Managing all transportation services for clients’ international relocation to include: rail, ocean, air and line haul carriers;
    8. Ensuring that client shipments are routed via quoted services and that all charges are correct by reviewing all invoices submitted by carriers.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation or a related field and/or equivalent business experience.
    • Two to four years of transportation related experience; two or more years’ experience in international business, including customer service.
    • Two to four years of client services experience;
    • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service delivery and quality standards;
    • Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills;
    • Strong working knowledge of client databases (MoverSuite is a plus), Excel, databases, MS Office;
    • Proven experience developing and generating reports; in-depth understanding of metrics;
    • Exceptional presentation skills;
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environment;
    • Previous moving industry experience a plus;
