About You

Nutrafol is searching for a hands-on Head of Engineering with solid multi-channel e-commerce experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of technology solutions at Nutrafol that support the communication channels and user experiences, reporting directly to the CTO. As part of an agile team, you will lead a group of front and back-end developers along with talented quality assurance experts and solutions architects both internally and externally. This team works across multiple marketing and technology platforms including web, mobile and physical locations to create, maintain and support our public-facing digital properties. Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing, growth, product and other key parts of the organization to create and evolve a world class customer experience across all touchpoints.
• Lead the technical team of front and back-end developers as you create, evolve and maintain the technologies, development processes and core infrastructure to support a rapidly growing multi-channel e-commerce business.
• Collaborate with members of the tech team and outside technology and solutions vendors to create and maintain integrations between backend applications, repositories, third-party products.
• Work closely with internal and external partners to architect and maintain our data warehouse and business intelligence platforms.
• Be accountable for production support/emergencies as a point of contact.
• Acquire, estimate, and prioritize along with business stakeholders’ new requirements for ongoing releases of web and mobile properties.
• Design and implement technical solutions and functional components using marketing technology third-party solutions, frameworks and integrations that are secure, performant, scalable and maintainable.
• Read and create technical specifications and documentation.
• Establish processes and best practices for development, deployment, management, and maintenance that allow.
• Frequent release of new functionality without disrupting the critical capabilities that the organization depends on.
• Oversee the maintenance of source control systems, shared repositories, conduct code reviews, quality checks, code validation and participate in pair-programming.

Requirements

• 10+ years developing digital products for web and mobile ideally with ecommerce experience.
• 2+ years leading integrated teams of developers, product managers, and qa testers.
• Strong experience in a high availability environment with a focus on credit card processing and payments where security and PCI compliance are pillars.
• Strong understanding of modern platform architecture and integrating a wide variety of 3rd party SaaS solutions to create a best in class platform.
• Experience managing a modern data warehouse environment and supporting data science and BI activities.
• Ability to lead a diverse set of product roadmaps in parallel making tangible progress while managing complex dependencies.
• Expertise in automation and develops to streamline workflow and development, testing and deployment process to reduce risk.
