Description

Finn Beattie graduated Spatial Design BA at Massey University & was a founder of the Immersive Space Programme & has assumed & commanded the Digital Project Manager / COO role of our team in based Wellington. Working at Plan BETA & Immersive Space Programme has seen Finn delivering world class customer experiences for some of the most iconic brands in broadcasting (NBC Universal, Telemundo), sports (NBA, IPL) & commercial clients (BP, EY). We are also highly active in Arts & the GLAM sector.

Finn leads a boutique team of thinkers, creatives and technologists who share a passion for human centred design. We work in a collaborative environment on primarily R&D projects – no boredom allowed!

A glass-half-full detail nut who thrives on people, tight deadlines, multi-tasking, writing lists of the lists he needs to write, and the challenge of learning in a constantly evolving industry.


What Finn does…

  • The primary contact for a selection of our clients, ensuring free-flowing communication and managing and exceeding expectations on a daily basis

  • An intimate understanding of our clients’ goals and challenges, and in partnership with our creative and technical teams, providing the very best in strategic thinking, advice and direction

  • Creating and investing in strong working relationships with our amazing team of designers and developers; the glue that holds things together

  • Originating, scoping work, drafting and finalising budgets, estimates, proposals, project schedules and all project related documentation


Requirements

  • Proven digital producer / project management experience, delivering small to large interactive/digital projects on time, within budget and with happy clients

  • A patient calm head that exudes charm and grace, even when the desire to poke your eyeballs out is uncontrollable

  • Experience leading or working within Agile teams

  • A client management champion. He conducts himself professionally and with a smile — because it’s what he’s about

  • Confident speaker with proven experience in writing and presenting

  • A passion for all things Digital and Interactive

  • Has traveled, predominantly to main meets in NZ & occasionally overseas
