JOB SUMMARY
The F & I Manager
Acquires financing for customers as well as sells insurance programs; including but not limited to Maintenance Programs, Extended Service Agreements, Gap, Theft, and Lojack.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals
- Complete all sales related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Accurately communicate sales contract information by disclosing data, provisions, finance charges, and interest rates to customer ensuring customer understanding of content
- Seeking new lending
institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs. - Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
- Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
- Understand all aspects of Finance, Maintenance Programs, Extended Service Agreements, Gap, Theft, and Lojack along with a good working knowledge of current lender’s programs
- Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealershipâs financing and extended service programs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Able to process credit applications and obtain lending
- Familiar with warranty sales and other financial products
- Proficiency in Lightspeed and Microsoft Applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to create exceptional customer service experiences
