To plan and operate a system of evidence based practices for offender reentry preparation programs and services that support correctional management of offenders while reducing criminal risks and addressing criminogenic treatment needs to ultimately reduce recidivism. To design, plan, implement and oversee correctional operations founded on the well-established, contemporary body of evidence-based practices for offender management, by incorporating all components of the Evidence Based Practices model at selected sites including organizational development, collaboration, effective communication and learning teams (deportment), sanctions and incentives, assessment and case planning, social learning and cognitive-behavioral programming, and targeted interventions to create safe and effective correctional environments characterized by staff engagement and positive offender change.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel. Contemporary evidence-based research and practices for correctional operations, including offender programs and management. Experience in Strategic Planning, management, and budgetary procedures. Experience in Case Management and Risk Assessment. Ability to plan, design, implement and evaluate evidence-based practices. Ability to communicate effectively to provide technical assistance to administrative staff and field sites. Ability to develop funding requests/grant budgets related to area and manage implementation. Ability to coach staff on various strategies related to offender services. Ability to interpret findings and provide measures to staff.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate from a college or university with major course work in the social of behavioral sciences or criminal justice field. Post graduate degree preferred.
