Estimator/Project Manager

Architectural woodworking company, RJ Millworkers Inc., located in Oneonta, NY is seeking Estimators, Weeke CNC Programmers, Project Managers, and Experienced cabinet makers with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to fabricate architectural grade cabinetry and furniture. Qualified applicants will have extensive experience and the ability to attain high quality standards while working quickly and efficiently to meet production schedules.
Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 7-10+ years of experience in the field of cabinetmaking
• Experience in reading and translating hand drawn and computer generated shop drawings, plans, specifications, etc.
• Experience with various woodworking machinery, including but not limited to table saws, wide-belt sanders, planers, jointers, routers, shapers, line borers, hinge machines, and other specialty machinery.
• Experience using hand tools when necessary to execute demanding project details.
• Flexibility is required to meet client deadlines. We value work-life balance but some early mornings, weekend and over time may be required.
• Must be able to follow project plans and work independently and take a project from start to completion.
• Must be able to communicate and function well within a team.
• Experience in properly maintaining woodworking tools and machinery.
• These full-time positions require the ability to multi-task in fast paced, deadline driven environment as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
